For the third year in a row, the proceeds of the 5th Annual Dylan Connelly Memorial Ride and Family Day will be donated to Camp Sunshine and The National Brain Tumor Society.
Camp Sunshine inspires hope in families affected by life-threatening childhood illness through their unique, supportive program at their beautiful campus on Maine’s Sebago Lake. They provide respite, support, joy, and hope to children with life-threatening illnesses and their immediate families from around the world through the various stages of their journeys. The year-round program is free of charge to all families, and includes 24-hour onsite medical and psychosocial support. Camp Sunshine also provides bereavement sessions for families who have lost a child to supported illnesses. Team Braveheart is proud to support such a wonderful facility, with a strong belief in supporting others in a time of need, while celebrating the beauty of nature.
Driven by a vibrant, hopeful, and tireless community, the National Brain Tumor Society’s strategic initiatives and funded programs aim to improve an understanding of all brain tumors to transform research into new and effective treatments, as quickly as possible. To achieve these goals, they also foster collaboration with leaders in the private sector, government, and academia to drive systemic change within all facets of the drug discovery and development landscape. They are the largest nonprofit dedicated to the brain tumor community in the United States, and won’t rest until a cure exists. Team Braveheart proudly supports NBTS, and their dedication to beating brain tumors.
